7/2/2018. Due to overgrowth moved this one so folks could get to it. The Shuffletown Dragway was one of the oldest and longest running drag racing tracks in the country. It first opened in 1958 and closed in 1993. The park here is named in its honor. There isn't much of this part of drag racing history left now, but if you walk around near GZ and in the winter can get past the tall weeds for this and continue Bushwacking you can see some of the remnants of where it was. There are some photos of the glory days and even a few videos available online.
