Geocache Description:

"Kameyama Hachimangu (859 years foundation)" is located near the Karato market.

Land that Kameyama Hachimangu was the island a long time ago.
It is said that the name "Turtle", the shape of the island also was similar to turtle at that time.

The precincts…
Artillery trace,Huge FUGU monument,Literary monument,
Etc. etc. ...
There are a lot of attractions like the amusement park though.

Well, the bottom line is cache ...
It is hidden in the artifacts of modern.
You can find visually without taking the suspicious behavior!

唐戸市場のすぐ近くにある「亀山八幡宮」は貞観元年（859年）創建の神社です。
亀山八幡宮がある地は、古くは島でした。
「亀山」という名称は、当時島の形が亀に似ていたとも、宇佐の八幡様がお祀りされている山が亀山だからともいわれています。

境内には、
砲台跡、巨大なふくの像、林芙美子文学碑、山陽道碑、日本一の大鳥居、床屋発祥の地碑などなど…
たくさんの見どころがあって、まるで遊園地のように楽しめます。 (visit link)
