Geocache Description:

Trailhead of Hummingbird at the Dirt parking lot fence enterance. This event is being hosted by lightningstar with the help of Alcoa Fastening Systems, Simi Valley Trailblazers and the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.

The Creek clean up is approx; 500 ft back in. The Painting will happen up on the Waterfall approx: 1200 ft back in with a Elevation gain of 125ft. The Event will start at 8:00am and will end somewhere between 10 and noon. We will be cleaning up Hummingbird Creek, and Painting over Graffiti on the Waterfall, starting a little further up the trail. Please wear work clothes and a smile. Paint (and all the supplies for that) along with Gloves and bags for trash will be provided.

Last year as with this year the Event is being held on National Trail Days.

Last year we picked up over 500lbs of trash, over 20lbs of Al cans which were then turned in and that money used to buy more paint to help paint over other Graffiti in parks nearby.
