Geocache Description:

From ground zero, you will have a real good panoramic view of the area, including the old Niobrara  State Park which was located between the Mormon Canal and the Niobrara River.  If you look to the right (southwest), you will see the Highway 12 bridges that cross the Mormon Canal as well as the Niobrara River .  Also, off to the East is the Chief Standing Bear Memorial bridge that crosses the Missouri River. It was dedicated on August 29, 1998. You also have a real nice view of the town of Niobrara Ne. that is in its 3rd location due to the changing flow of the Missouri river.

A State Park permit will be needed for your vehicle if you choose to search for the cache!  At this time the yearly permit is $25 but the daily is only $5.
