LE SITE :
La route escarpée qui mène au Diamant depuis Petite Anse promet de jolis moments. Elle contourne la Femme Couchée (surnom local du morne Larcher, un ancien volcan éteint). Un point de vue a été aménagé sur cette côte et offre un panorama époustouflant sur le rocher imposant qui a prêté son nom et son image à la vaste baie du Diamant.
Le Diamant est imposant. Suffisamment pour paraitre tout proche, bien qu'il soit à 2 km de la côte. Alors un peu plus loin, dans la descente, on s'arrête au point de vue pour prendre le temps de l'admirer (attention, il n'y a pas beaucoup de place pour se garer).
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture, le site est très facile d'accès. C'est une cache magnétique CAMO qui contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.
THE SITE:
The steep road which leads to the Diamant Since Petite Anse promises attractive moments. It by-passes the Femme Couchée (local nickname of the morne Larcher, a old extinct volcano). A point of view was fitted out on this coast and offers a panorama amazing on the impressive rock which lent its name and its image to the vast bay of the Diamant.
The Diamant is impressive. Enough for by every close relation, although it is 2 km of the coast. Then a little farther, in the descent, we stop in the point of view to take time to admire It(attention, there is no à lot or place to park).
THE CACHE :
When you found a place for your car, the site is very easily accessible. It is the magnetic hiding place CAMO which contains originally the log but no pencil. Thus bring your pencil ( BYOP) and be extremely discreet, the place is very busy. PLEASE replace the hiding place exactly in the place where you found It.
