A rurual community settled as part of the oil boom from the Burbank field that took its name from the Little Chief creek. Abandoned in the late 1930’s it was then heavily damaged by a tornado and razed in the 1940’s. Little remains but a few houses and the remains of one business and oilfield equipment.
