HERE'S TO YOU, ROGER
This cache is a tribute to the memory of our dear friend, Roger, whom we met in 1969 when he, his wife, and my husband were teaching in Canada's DND schools in Germany. We formed a friendship that has lasted to this day. Unfortunately, Roger left our group far too soon, in 2001. Though far from perfect, he was smart, funny, talented, and accomplished, and he enriched our lives. We had wonderful times together over the years and will always miss him, but we cherish the crazy, kooky memories that linger.
Rog liked nothing better than imbibing a fine glass of wine, so the FTF prize will enable the finder to join us in a toast to Roger.
The cache is placed in the area where he lived and worked in Brockville. My home is in Vancouver, but "Mrs. Roger" has agreed to monitor and maintain the cache on my behalf.
