This cache is located along Rd. 18 north of Lava Pass.
The east flank of Newberry Volcano is dissected by numerous stream channels indicating a much wetter climate sometime during the last 80,000 years. Several of these channels combined to flow south through this narrow 0.15 mile long bedrock canyon. The cache is in a white plastic container.
