*Update: The road going west is no longer a dead end road. And now it makes sense to have the stop sign.
Confused? So was I when two stop signs suddenly showed up here. See, it all started at a Millville City council meeting back in February (http://millvillecity.org/uploads/pdf/minutes/minutes%20%202-13-14.pdf). A council member brought up that a citizen, who, by the way, doesn't live along this road, had suggested putting up a "Slow Children At Play" sign on this road to slow people down because of the school. And the discussion spiraled into two other council members, who don't live near this road, motioning and seconding the installation of two stop signs without researching whether they were really needed. So rather than run these stop signs, because I'm so not used to having them there, I figured why not put a geocache to remind me to stop. That way, I'm less likely to hit one of the many people coming out of the dead end road that now has the right of way. And when you stop and get this cache, do me a favor: Look around you and count the number of children at play and leave the number in your log. As someone who frequents this road and doesn't see a lot of kids at play on it (other than at the school), I'm curious how many you will see.
