Thousands of geocachers at many WWFM events across the globe, gathering at the same time! All the cool aspects of a geocaching event, crammed into 15 minutes of excitement occurring across the planet on the same day at (mostly) the same time! These caching events are intended to bring geocachers together in a creative way, as well as introduce others (newbies) to the hobby.
On June 7, 2014 at 1 PM EST join forces for Geocaching World Wide FlashMob 11th Anniversary Event.
This Flashmob event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes:
1 PM SHARP Gather at the posted coordinates . Attendees to take a "log sheet/raffle ticket" (BYOP) and NEATLY PRINT their geocaching name and deposit it into the container in exchange for bottle of bubbles!. (Please indicate the number of participants in your group when you log your "will attend" so we can ensure we have enough bubbles for everyone).
1:05 PM 2-minute Bubble Bonanza! - (NOTE: Let's draw attention with our bubbles and wacky hats!).
1:07 PM Group photo shoot.
1:09 PM Prize winners selected. Only those attendees who submitted a "log sheet/raffle ticket" will be eligible to win a prize.
1:15 PM END OF WWFM XI - Container will be sealed and taken away and the event area vacated without a trace!
Events that happen after 1:15:01 do not count as part of THIS event.
