BYOP. This is part of our Marshall County cemetery series. It is best if you park on Knapp Ave. to the E of the cache site and walk over to GZ from there because there is no good place to pull off on busy E-29. Cache itself is winter-friendly and you will need to use stealth at this location no matter when you are searching for the cache.
Hartland Friends Cemetery is located in the SE corner of Section 15 in Marietta Township, Marshall County, Iowa. The cache is hidden at a location near the former Hartland Friends Church building, which was still here in 2012 but has since been torn down. There was a gravel driveway that led to the building at one time but they have planted grass here. Please feel free to explore the nearby cemetery grounds (they are located to the NW of the cache site) but please be respectful of the property.
