Ērģemes Evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca bija viens no skaistākajiem dievnamiem Latvijā. Vēstures gaitā baznīca ir vairakkārt cietusi.

Pēc pirmā pasaules kara tā nodega, bet vēlāk draudze pati to atjaunoja par saviem līdzekļiem, ziedojot 32000Ls(45531€). Šogad aprit 440 gadu, kopš baznīca un draudze pirmo reizi pieminēta vēsturniekiem zināmajos rakstos, tad tā bija celta no koka un saucās Svētās Annas baznīca.

Ēku nodedzināja 17. gadsimta 60. gados. 1968. gadā būvmeistars Heinrihs Vēde kopā ar palīgu Kristianu Videkenu uzcēla pagaidu baznīcu, bet jau pēc četriem gadiem to nodedzināja krievu karaspēks. 1726. gadā Vidzemes ģensuperintendents nosprieda, ka jāceļ jauna baznīca Dievam par godu. 1920. gadā baznīca kārtējo reizi nodega un to atjaunoja draudze. Pēdējais dievkalpojums Ērģemes baznīcā notika 1944. gada septembrī. Pēc tam to sagrāva Sarkanās armijas aviācija, bombardējot Ērģemi. Baznīca bija mūra garenbūve ar taisnstūra altārdaļu un izvirzītu torni ar barokālu smaili. Ēkai bija uzlikts šindeļu jumts. Altāra retablā bija Frankfurtes gleznotāja Oto Donnera fon Rihtera gleznotā darba “Kristus apskaidrošana” kopija. Dievnamā atradās ērģeļmeistera Herberta Kolbes būvētās ērģeles.

Ergeme Evangelical Lutheran Church was one of the most beautiful churches in Latvian. Throughout history the church has repeatedly suffered.

After the First World War it was destroyed by fire, but later restored the church itself at its own expense, donating 32000Ls (45531€). This year marks 440 years since the church and the parish was first mentioned in the writings of two known to historians, it was built of wood and was called St. Anne's Church.

Buildings burned the 17th century, the 60th years. In 1968. Transporters for the master builder Heinrich along with assistant Christian Videkenu built a temporary church, but after four years it was burnt down by Russian troops. 1726th year Vidzeme General Superintendent held that build a new church for the glory. In 1920. Church was again burned down and restored the church. The last church service was held in the church Ergeme 1944th September. After it was destroyed during the Red Army's aviation bombing Ergeme. The church was a masonry aisle with rectangular altar and protruding tower with a baroque steeple. The building was worn shingle roof. Frankfurt was the altarpiece painter Otto Donner von Richter painted the work " of Christ 's Transfiguration " copy . In the church was master of organ Herbert Kolb organ.
