In the 1940’s Tom Files’ dairy was in this area. His section of land ran along both sides of Files Road between Section Line Road and Central and you would see a beautiful pasture dotted with cows. Tom's motto was “You can’t beat our milk, but you can whip our cream!” Remember when bottled milk was delivered to your door and everyone fought over who poured the cream off the top for their cereal or coffee? No? Well, maybe you aren't that old! It has been awhile. Things have sure changed around here and the cows have moo'ved on! Happy caching.
