Well, here it is, my first cache hide! I think you'll like this one, because the journey takes you to a very tranquil open forest located on top of an anvil shaped hill top. Now don't fret too much about the 350 foot elevation change because I'm in my 60's an I had no problem making this trek. Pace yourself an do a little switchbacking on your way up and be sure to visit Killerb's cache, "Bo's K9 Hideaway No.2" on your way to this cache if you haven't done that one yet. You can get yourself a twofer here plus get a good workout besides.
I ask that once you find the cache that you carefully put it back exactly the way you found it, because that's what makes this cache so special. Handle it carefully please!
Once you signed in, explore this wonderful area and I would highly recommend bringing a picnic lunch with you and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. Hey it's all downhill on the way back, so the worst is over. I recommend walking along the top of the stream bank that is to your right as you walk back down, there are some beautiful waterfalls to be seen along the way and some old roads in the woods that you can follow.
Thanks for visiting, now leave me a good log and share your experience with me, this is Cletus, the cache hider Wilson, signing off!
I'd like to Thank Park Manager Roland Beck for taking the time to review and approve this cache!
A big congratulations to Buford T. Hoghoof for his first to find on this challenging cache!
