Academia Sinica is the highest academic research organization of Taiwan, which located at Nangang, Taipei. But for local resident, Academia Sinica is much more like a huge park rather than a government institution, many people and children go walking / jogging / playing here during evening and weekend.
Inside Academia Sinica, there are all kinds of trees, flowers, birds and even ponds. Beside these beautiful nature environment, there are also lots of art pieces.
You don't need any permission to go inside the area, it's open for public all the time. But the land area is quite large, you better make sure you have enough time for visit there if you are not just interesting in finding the cache, but also wants to enjoy this rarely fresh air in Taipei. Also remember it's dark there at night, I would not suggest you finding this cache after sun is down although the cache is available for 24/7.
Motorcycle is not allowed in Academia Sinica , and you need parking fee / identification if you drive car into it. I would suggest you instead take MRT to Nangang Exhibition Hall station, than riding the rental public bike to Academia, which should take you less than 30 minutes. You could also take bus (route 212 / 306 / 270 / 205 will be all fine) to Academia Sinica stop. You will spot a convenient store / post office immediately after you step down the bus, you could pass through the store or the post office and you are inside Academia Sinica.
Finally, you may need flashlight for finding this treasure. The origin container only contains a ink brush, you may challenge using this strange pen to sign on log book, or bring your own pen.

中央研究院是台灣的最高學術研究機構，位於台北市的南港區。但對於當地的居民來說，與其說他是政府機構，倒不如說他是一個超大的公園，許多當地居民或小朋友會在傍晚或者周末的時候，在院區內散步、慢跑或遊玩。
在中央研究院內你可以看到各式各樣的樹木、花草、鳥類，甚至還有生態池等等，而除了這些自然環境之外，院區內也有很多藝術擺飾和雕像。
進入中央研究院不需要任何的許可，院內的公共區域是對所有人開放的。但因為院區佔地廣大，若您除了尋寶之外，也想要享受在台北市難得的綠色空間和清新的空氣，建議您保留足夠的時間來在院區內散步。另外雖然這個寶藏 24 小時都可以找得到，但晚間院區內頗暗的，可能會讓尋寶變得較為困難，因此不建議您晚上過來尋寶。
機車不能進入院區，而開車進入院區的話需要停車費與換證，所以建議您直接搭乘捷運至「南港展覽館」站，並騎乘 YouBike（應該不用三十分鐘就可以到），或搭 212 / 306 / 205 / 270 至中央研究院站下車，下車後會立刻看到一個便利商店，直接穿過便利商店或郵局就進入中央研究院的院區內了。
最後，你可能需要帶著手電筒來尋寶。另外，原始的盒子裡只有毛筆，你可以試著挑戰用毛筆來簽記錄本，或者是把你自己的筆帶過來。
