This is a place I can't find too much history on. But, I know there is. So, I would love to hear it from you in your logs.. if you have any. I do know the Fire Department held bonfires for our school, held great cook outs at this location and of course played lots of baseball.
Also, this was the first location of Thunder in the Valley back in 1998.. 5,000 people came to this ball field. Look how far this event has grown and all the areas that profit from this first event now. It's a shame Frankin Boro can't profit from it also. I would love to see the Frankin Fire Department set up something at this location again for Thunder in the Valley. Just wishful thinking.
