Geocache Description:

SquamerCache 003 - The Philadelphia Chronicles

Poor Man's Stonehenge

To quote Eddie Izzard: "But yeah, so they built it there. And the stones! The stones are 50 foot high, 30 foot long, 20 foot deep, and other measurements as well! And they’re not from ‘round there, that's the amazing thing!

This cache is located near the Delaware river. Taking a stroll through the park at Lardner's Point,  you will pass through the fine work of the DRCC (Delaware River City Corp). This organization helps restore the shoreline and provides a great recreation environment for the entire family. Fishing is very good here. Poor Mans Stonehenge is a group of large concrete blocks of which the use of is unknown. Set back in a moderately wooded area, these blocks are a great table top to take a lunch with you, have a picnic, and log a cache. As always...have fun!
