Plummer Park is a vibrant park in West Hollywood featuring tennis courts, basketball courts, and plenty of grassy areas for other sports. The park is very popular with the Russian residents of West Hollywood and includes a monument to those in the Soviet Army who died in World War II.
Recently, a pair of fantastic sculptures titled "Three Horned Beast (and Baby Beast)" were installed at Plummer Park as part of the "WeHo East Arts" initiative. These sculptures demonstrate the ability to maximize volume while minimizing material waste. For example, even though the larger sculpture is nearly 30 feet tall, the lightweight recyclable materials used in this sculpture could be condensed into a two-foot cube! The sculptures also possess an organic quality that can only be appreciated by visiting them in person--definitely worth the trip!
