Thanks everyone for coming!
Congrats to Keoni23 and BeachBums! for the co-FTF!

We will meet at Central Park in Davis for World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) XI.

For this flash mob, we'll get musical. In my way of thinking, MUSICAL + FLASH MOB can only equal one thing: KAZOO!

Bring your kazoo, and we'll "jam" (?) together at 10am sharp, flashmobbing along with geocachers all over the world. WHAT? You say you don't have a kazoo. Well, they can be found at most dollar stores. Or, heck, make your own--it's easy. Searching "make" "own" "kazoo" and you'll find plenty of websites. Add "comb" to your search if you want to make the comb variety.

About 48 hours before the event, I'll update this page with our final song list. I am hoping we can "perform" one or two songs with a geocaching theme. (Yeah, good luck on that.) My current vote--but only because nothing better has been suggested--is "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." UPDATE: since nothing better has come in, we'll go with this. A youtube is here. We'll skip the intro and start playing the song at the 0:27 mark of the video, the place in the song when the singing starts. If we can get to the chorus, it will be a miracle!

Schedule of activities:
9:57 Mingle, or put the last minute touches on your instrument (did I just type that?)
9:59 Remove kazoo from its stealth container (uh, like your pocket or handbag).
10:00 Whistle blows. Belt out song one. If there's a song two, belt that one out too.
10:04 Sign log and enter FTF drawing.
10:08 Event meal
10:11 FTF randomly drawn
10:13 Group photo
10:15 What? Are you still here?

What? Can't attend this event? Well, come to nearby Fair Time Flash Mob three hours earlier in Sacramento. Either way, your geocaching profile will be spiffed up with a digital souvenir!
