Sonic Screwdriver: The Doctor Who Series Traditional Geocache

This cache is located on the Vassar Farms property, a 527 acre plot right in Poughkeepsie.  The Vassar Farm property has miles of well marked and maintained trails that will take you through woods and fields, past ponds, streams and marshes.  You will be treated to a vast variety of wildlife from deer to beaver, turtles to a multitude of bird species.  We have been given permission to use this area for our game, treat it with respect and enjoy what it has to offer.

This cache is located along the Green trail.  The Sonic Screwdriver is the tool of choice used by the Doctor.  Since he is hesitant to use weapons, the sonic ability of this tool provides him with alternatives to violence.  Every Doctor has his own special screwdriver and it can open locks, repair and operate ship systems and provide information through scans.  It can not work on wood, but you will find plenty of wood where it is hidden.
