We assemble at the statue of Drummer the Dray Horse at exactly 6pm, if you arrive early please do not gather next to the statue before 6pm as this will spoil the affect of a flash mob.
The statue shows Drummer without the red, white and blue braided in his tail or in his mane that you would have associated with him when he was pulling the Dray. It shows Drummer as he was remembered being lead away to his new home when the Dray Yard actually on the location of the statue closed.
The former Eldridge Pope Brewery ceased trading in 2002.
The statue is a recent addition to the town of Dorchester having only been put in place in April 2014.
This is a new location for a World Wide Flash Mob and it is held at the same time as hundreds of others around the world.
Please sign the logbook as a record that you attended, a group photo will be taken and we will chat together until 6.15pm when we disappear back from where we came.
To identify ourselves as flash mobbers we'll wear suitable attire and do something silly to totally confuse onlooking muggles!
