Saturday June 7, 2014 at noon CST at the Congress Street Bridge.
At the 2014 Tx Challenge many participated in one of the largest Bastrop ISOBS (International Society of Bridge Spitters) events ever. While there, several of us thought it might be fun to bring this event to Austin. And what fun to make it one of the many WWFM events.
Ok, so maybe it was only me and the others were just being nice. No matter, we are going to give it a go!
Start gathering on the East side of the bridge in small groups. Try not to look like a mob. Don't make too much eye contact with the others who might also be assembling for the event. At just before noon, start gathering near the center of the bridge and face East. We will all spit at the same time. I will give instructions on what to do exactly in an announcement here later so either log a will attend or keep a watch on this cache (or better yet, do both!)
I am working on a short, simple song that will help bring it all together and I will post this later as well.
When we are done spitting, we will pose for a picture and then leave. This is a flash mob so it will only last about 15 minutes.
I hope to see all the SOBS that were inducted in Bastrop as well as any new S.O.B.S. that want to join us. I may bring cards so that you can be "card carrying" S.O.B.S.
