Placed in honor of a friend who recently passed the 1000 finds milestone, it's an almost-gold bison tube, hiding inside its camouflage. Bring a pen for the waterproof paper. Please let the honoree find it first.
Stony Creek has a number of well-maintained old cemeteries out on the back roads. There's even marked parking for this one along Fisher Road.
As always:
1) Above all be respectful of the area you are in.
2) Follow all geocaching rules as per the guidelines.
3) Caches will never be placed in a way that you will have to tear anything apart.
4) Cache is available from dawn to dusk only.
5) Take a moment to appreciate your surroundings and reflect on those loved ones here.
We placed two in this area the same day, so check them both out. Bring a boat and you can continue another half mile to Lens Lake where there are interesting bog plants, four caches on the lake, and one on the shore near the launch site.
