Guardian of the Swamp Circle Traditional Cache

geoBaby-M and I were on a mission on the West Loop Trail (Red) to find the coords of two locations I had found last year. After 3 attempts were were successful! It only took about 20 miles logged on the stroller to figure out the right trail and find them! 

So after we successfully found Cindy's Ninja tree, we decided to further our adventures by heading back to the main trail and head north. 

The trail headed north, but all of a sudden there was an animal trail that clearly crossed the main trail. Always up for an adventure, I "stroller"whacked through it to see where they were all going. 

Turns out there was this awesome Big Oak overlooking all these Cypress trees that had formed some sort of circle. I can only imagine what this will look like in the summer! 

I had a great time watching geoBaby-M climb the Cypress knees like they were tall mountains. We even found another trail leading off to the creek. 

We had such a great time here and only got buzzed by one Florida native the whole time we were back here. Again...I think that will be a whole different experience come summer time!

There can be prescribed burns in the park and if that happens they will periodically close the park until they are done burning. There is also no restroom facilities or water on the trails, so please plan accordingly. 

Roughly, this is about a 2 mile hike in to GZ.
