This trail leads along the foreshore from Montrose Bay High to the DEC. There is an all-access playground area, public toilets, open parkland and bbq areas, as well as GASP (Glenorchy Art and Sculpture Park) along the trail. Take a walk along the boardwalks and do some bird-watching around the tidal mudflats. See what’s happening at the DEC then amble out past Elwick Racecourse to Wilkinson’s Point and enjoy the views.
The Glenorchy Art & Sculpture Park has hosted events such as The Works Festival, Ten Days on the Island, MONA FOMA and Dark MOFO.
*Please note: dogs are not allowed on boardwalk itself. Alternate track is to be used closer to highway.
