Geocache Description:

CONGRATS DAVEE-N-CACHINCARRIE FTF!!! THANKS GUYS! Located at the Eastland Recreational Trail off of Old Cave Road.

Eastland trail is a very short but extremely beautiful trail.  It is located right off of Old Cave Road, and there is a pull off parking spot (room for one vehicle) right across from the start of the trail.  The trail runs along side a creek and a pond on the other side that is in between the two bridges there.  The pull off parking spot is just by the Eastland subdivision.  There are currently two sets of geese and their babies that reside by the pond and are always there.  We have also seen groundhogs here, just a beautiful place right off the road.  This cache is a small container with a log book, pen, and room for small or medium size trade items.  If starting the trail on the end where the pull off spot is, the cache is located before the first bridge.  If starting the other end, it will be a bit after the second bridge. There are a bit of ants so be careful! Just a few thorns, but easy to step over.   While here, walk over the bridges and take in the beauty, though short, it's a truly beautiful trail with amazing scenery!  As always, thanks so much to all cachers and hiders!  You all are wonderful!!!!  While here, drive down a little more to Willingham Knolls Park and check out The Bison Tube and A Tree House, two of our favorites! Thanks so much everyone! Side Note: They have recently put up no trespassing signs on either ends of this trail saying only residents and guests allowed. I have spoken with the owner, and apparently there have been some rowdy people on the trail so they have closed it to the public. He is allowing me to keep this cache here as I told him this community is not rowdy or destructive! So, everyone please be respectful of the people and trail, and hopefully we can keep this one here for a while!
