Geocache Description:

All of the caches in this series are located at or near favourite foodie sites in Nova Scotia. We in Nova Scotia enjoy our producers and culinary craftsmen and there are so many places, from restaurants to wineries to farm markets, that show the variety of food and drink in this province.

This cache is near a foodie favourite restaurant. This location has probably never been frequented by the Duke of Argyll, the name reflects where that person used to reside in Scotland. As for here, well the area does have a rather extensive historical connection with Scotland. After the French were removed from Cape Breton in 1758, immigrants from Scotland started to flood into this area since it reminded them so much of home with the highlands so nearby. Ever since, the area has been rich in Scottish culture including a Gaelic college just up the road in St Ann`s, and a simulated Scottish settlement just down the road in Iona. Don't forget to look for some of the other caches in the series.
