The road to this cache used to take the traveler 40 miles north to Long Creek, Oregon before US Hwy 395 was built. Looking south is the beautiful Strawberry Mountains. One can view the length of the John Day valley from East to West. Many of us have moved on, but for those of us we bring our memories with us.
