Plumpton is a genteel Sussex village on the foot of the Downs so imagine how the locals felt when a hard livin rock god like Page moved into the Grade 2 listed Elizabethan manor house. Fortunately for them he was on tour for most of the 70s but he certainly threw a few parties here, probably even penned a few of their classics songs here too. During the quiet years of 76/77 he was even spotted jamming in the local pub where a portrait hangs on the wall that features the band among others.
He moved out in 1980 after the tragic death of a local photographer at one of his parties in 1979.
The house features in the first few minutes of their film 'The Song Remains The Same' and can be watched here.

The cache is not placed on private land and you do not need to enter the private grounds to retrieve it. The cache is accessible from the public footpath, please stick to this. Please place the cache exactly as you found it as if it does get placed within the grounds it may be removed by the landowner. After looking north at the house you can admire the fantastic view to the south.
There is room for swaps and TBs, I would especially love to see Led Zep or rock themed items placed in here!
The cache name is inspired by 'A Whole Lotta Love' , one of their more famous songs you can listen to here
