Geocache Description:

A small altoid tin cache in West Oakland. We left a few small treasures including a Soundwave guitar pick for the FTF. This is a 'transitional neighborhood' unfortunately ripe with car break-ins so use caution when visiting outside of regular business hours. This cache is located in the parking lot of Soundwave Studios it is unecessary to enter the building. BYOP.

Soundwave Studios is a music rehearsal and recording space that's been around since the early 90's. It has been visited by some of the Bay Area's most prominent bands and artists; Faith No More, Mac Dre, Sheila E, Primus, Metallica, Third Eye Blind, and Testament. Search for this cache at the right time and you may get to witness a music video in the making or hear some good music vibrating through the studio's walls. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm and Weekends 12pm-11pm with peak hours in the evenings.
