Geocache Description:

This cache is in the most eastern meadow of the Mustang Hills and overlooks the Elbow Valley with a wonderful view of the front ranges. My recommended route starts at Rainy Pass in the pull out by the large story board. The route to access the ridge top is the same as that for The Feral Horses of the Mustang Hills cache, so use those reference points (except don't turn at R4). Come and enjoy a couple of hours in this beautiful place. It is a 7 km hike with a 200 m elevation gain.

TRAIL MAP

DIRECTIONS

Park at the co-ordinates given and use the same reference points given for "The Feral Horses of the Mustang Hills" except don't turn at R4 just go straight ahead towards the cache. We placed this cache while on a walk in the hills with our friends Takin it Easy and Momzee.

The cache is a small LnL hanging low in a spruce tree and does at this time contain 24 finders cards.

As always when hiking in the woods over rough ground come prepared with all required gear including bear spray. You also, should not hike solo.
