Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated for Memorial Day 2014 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Axtell, NE.  Memorial Day is an important celebration in this community as it is throughout the country.  Many Geocaches are hidden at Cemeteries bringing us to places of sacred memory and reverent hallowed ground.  We find the names and history of communities told in these places, whether in a city cemetery or a lonely pioneer cemetery off some back road and even a few MMRs.

You are looking for a Forest Green Bison Tube hanging out on a limb.  Those who gave their lives for our country went out on a limb for us and for the democracy we cherish.  This cache is symbolic of the purpose and the meaning of Memorial Day.

You do not have to leave the mowed grass area to spot this one, but you may have to take a step or two in a westward direction to retrieve this one.  I’m not one who likes to get too far into the trees to get a cache so this one is more friendly than evil.  Also, I don’t like crawling around looking for a cache in these evergreens … so stand up and look around to find this one.  DON’T GET MUGGLED!  And have fun.  Stop to respect those who are remembered here … and share your memory of this find with a picture for the gallery if you so choose.
