This was an old quartz quarry here which was in use commercially for a few years between 1910 and 1916. Dotted about the landscape are quite large quartz rocks on the hillsides.
The cache and quarry can be accessed after a nice 2km from the car parking place at the graveyard by the deserted village due east. To get here you have to walk the length of this village. The container itself is very small and should be a fun find if there are midges present.
