Geocache Description:

Magnetic micro closer to nano. The place can be crowded, be careful. BYOP.
Cache is not in given coordinates. It coordinates of the start point before entering of the cathedral. To get the coordinates of the cache, it is necessary to solve a simple problem.
Cache is in 92 meters in azimuth 326° from start point.

[RU] Кафедральный собор Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы
Место для кафедрального собора было обозначено на генеральном плане города Уфы еще в 1821 году, но к постройке приступили только в 1903 году. Строительство шло медленно, пока за дело не взялся уфимский меценат купец Никифор Патокин. В центре города вырос кирпичный храм с трехярусной колокольней высотой 47 метров. Храм был освящен в 1909 году.
В 1934 году храм был закрыт. Здесь располагались авиационные мастерские, а затем кинотеатр. Здание перестроили и многие архитектурные элементы храма были утрачены.
В 1991 году храм вернули верующим и к 2005 году он был восстановлен по письменным описаниям и чертежам, обнаруженным в архиве. Ныне здесь проводятся торжественные богослужения.

[ENG] Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin
Place for the cathedral was designated on the master plan of the city of Ufa back in 1821, but construction began only in 1903. Construction progressed slowly until the cause has not undertaken Ufa philanthropist merchant Nicephorus Patokin . In the center of the city reached a brick church with a three-tiered bell tower height of 47 meters . The church was consecrated in 1909.
In 1934 the church was closed . It housed aviation workshops and then cinema . The building was rebuilt and many of the architectural elements of the temple have been lost.
In 1991, the church was returned to believers and by 2005 it was rebuilt in the written description and drawings found in the archive. Now here are held solemn worship.
