If you parked in the lay by on the A487, you can see the road and layby up to the left. Unfortunately, there is no public footpath up to the road from the coastal path. So to get back to your car either continue along the path to Aberaeron and then walk back towards Aberarth on the road, or backtrack through the village of Aberarth to the main road and turn right to walk along the road towards the layby.
