There is a seasonal road that goes up to the mountain, but can be blocked by deadfall, especially early in the season. There is also a hiking trail that starts about 2 KM north of the marked Porcupine Creek Trail sign. This trail can be combined with animal trails and the road on the way up. Heading up the hill from the Gold Country cache there’s a clearly defined trail that runs along the creek.
