ROCKS of SHANNON – Shannon Lake Series Traditional Cache

This cache set up in spring 2014 is part of a water based series designed for LIVING SKIES – HUMAN POWERED WATERCRAFT EVENT at SHANNON LAKE (GC557X2). Please  look for the cache  as part of the July 17 LIVING SKIES event. Watch for more caches closer to the event. All are designed to be found FIRST as part of GC557X2. Some will be published only on the day of the event.

All caches are on public land and cannot be reached except by a watercraft.  Once winter arrives and the lake is solid ice, there will be other ways to reach our caches.  Please leave the FTF for those participating in the event which starts on Thurs., July 17 at 10 am.  All are welcome to join us!

The cache is close to the landing site on public land.  Find a pile of  rocks and you will be close.  You are looking for a well cammoed lock n lock with trinkets and an FTF prize.  Continue paddling  North for even more  caches.
