There are many differences between Germany and Scotland, one of which is the interpretation of "pie".
A German hearing the word "pie" would probably think of a cake: almost always something sweet and you would have a cup of tea or coffee with it. In Scotland, however, a pie can be much more: it is also a delicious hot and often meat-based meal, and you would probably have an ale or a dram with it. That’s really delicious!
Let's enjoy this difference together on Wednesday, 9 July 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until at least 8 p.m.
I’m looking forward to meeting you – Greetings from Frankfurt am Main,
Jack
PS: If I know how many cachers will be there, I will try to book seats for all of us.
