Sakata station site
There was a 40-kilometer railway connecting between Tsuchiura and Iwase stations in the old days. It is said that trains running against a background of Mt. Tsukuba were popular among the railway fans. However, the railway was abolished in 1987 unfortunately. The railway site has been now reused as a cycling path called Tsukuba Rin-Rin road. The road is now used for recreation healthfully. Of course, it is also used for daily life such as commuting and shopping.
By the way, the listed coordinates show the Sakata station site. Perhaps, you can not see any remains because there is no feature of the station. In a rural scenery, the cycling road spreads straight out continuously. When you come at the listed coordinates, please imagine where the regular sized cache can be hidden while looking around. This cache is placed using magnets within 100 meters from the listed coordinates. The container holds about two liters. It is not in private area. In addition, there is a clue around the listed coordinates.

I have placed a Wherigo cache entitled Tsukuba Rin Rin Road (GC4ZX91). I set the Sakata station site approximately 400m southeast in the Wherigo cartridge. I am sorry it seemed to be wrong.

坂田駅跡
かつて土浦駅と岩瀬駅を結ぶ全長40キロほどの筑波鉄道がありました。筑波山を背景に田園のなかを走る列車は人気があったそうです。しかし残念ながら1987年に廃止されました。そして廃線跡地は、つくばりんりんロードと呼ばれる県道501号桜川土浦自転車道線となりました。今では健康で快適なレクリエーションの場として、また通勤・通学・買い物などの日常生活に使われる自転車道となっています。
さて、表示の座標はむかし坂田駅があった場所のようです。いまではまったく面影がありません。のどかな田舎の風景のなか、ひたすら直線的に道が続いていると思います。座標の場所に立ち止まってレギュラーサイズのコンテナをどこに設置しようかと見渡してください。そこから100m以内の場所に公称2060ccの容積をもったコンテナを磁石を使って固定しています。プライベートエリアではありません。一応、表示の座標あたりに手がかりがあります。
追記
Wherigo キャッシュTsukuba Rin Rin Road (GC4ZX91)で坂田駅跡と設定している場所は400mほど南東なんですが、どうも間違っていたようです。すみません。
