I placed this cache because like otheres, I'm a cache owner. I realize we have the responsibility to see that our caches are kept in good condition so those visiting them can enjoy the experience of not just finding the cache but being able to sign the log. After all this is why we take the time to place them.
So when someone reports that a cache needs maintenance it is our duty to see that it is done in a reasonable time. But when someone reports that your cache needs maintenance, and this has happened from time to time with all of us, and you run out to find that all there is, is a little condensation in it due to the weather and the log is nice and dry in the baggie. Then this becomes a waste of time and expense. I thank those that do log a needs maintenance for it gives the cache ownere a heads up on the condition of the cache. I have come across caches, as others have, that were damp so we just wipe them out for the owner and then there is no need to log a needs maintenance.
After running out today thinking that a cache of mine needed maintenance, only to find that all it needed was to be wiped out, the contents and the log were all in good shape. So this gave me the idea of placing this cache and giving it this name. After logging this as a find feel free to add a needs maintenance and lets see how many we can get. If the cache does need some TLC, please add a note and I will look after it.
