Geocache Description:

This is another cache in the " Nerang River " series. Placed on the eastern side of chevron Island which is renowned for it's coffee shops and boutique shops. It has a totally different environment to Surfers Paradise. Well worth a visit. Have a look at the waterfront Mansions with their boats etc. Wealthy place, but has lots of rentals off waterfront. look east to the high rises of Surfers Paradise. Compare the old ( 15 stories ) with the new. It's an eye opener. You will need tweezers

This shows another view from the Nerang River. Most visitors only see the Gold Coast from the beach at Surfers Paradise. There is much more to explore, so keep going on the Nerang River series. Lots of cruise boats pass here on the weekend.
