This cache takes you to the edge of Smith Rock State Park...literally. The geological formations of this park are one of the attributes that make is so famous. As you walk along the nearby trail you will find deep cracks in the rock formations. Be careful as you walk near these drop offs for it is a LONG way down. If you look in the canyon you can see the Crooked River that meanders through the park. On the hillside across the river you may view people biking or hiking the steep Burma Road.
This cache got its name when after a long day of hiking we stumbled upon a nearby bench. As we enjoyed the view, and the much needed rest, we decided to place a cache nearby.
