This cache is located within Wolcott Mill Metropark. A Metroparks permit is required: $7 daily pass, $30 annual pass, $20 seniors. All park rules and regulations apply. Park in parking lots only.
This cache is located at Wolcott Mill’s Farm Learning Center. We have been coming here on weekends for several years now to enjoy country life and learn about farming. This learning center is a real working farm. You can watch the dairy cows being milked each morning at 10 am. In the spring you can watch the sheep being sheared. In season, the greenhouse offers many types of vegetables and flowers for sale. On special occasions they have wagon rides pulled by draft horses. There is just so much to do and learn at this farm, it’s amazing!
For those of you familiar with Down on the Farm; we’ve changed it around a bit....hence the name Another Down on the Farm. Give it a try!
The above coordinates are to the parking lot of the farm. Take your time touring the barns and farmhouse. Along the way you will see many informational boards located in and around each building. Locate answers to the 9 questions listed below. Each answer needs to be calculated into another number and that number equals a letter. Plug in each number to its corresponding letter listed below for the Cache Coordinates.
For the First to Find we have a special gift! Other cache items are all related to farming. And we are starting off with a cow travel bug.
Farm hours are 9 am to 5 pm daily. They are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
