För att logga denna cache krävs lite tålamod. Cachen hittar du enkelt i en holk, men för att logga måste du även hitta loggboken. Allt som finns i cachebehållaren ingår i cachen och får alltså inte bytas/medtagas! Undantaget är de TB/GC som eventuellt finns i en egen burk (märkt "TB-burk"). Inga andra bytesgrejer finns! Lycka till med jakten på loggboken!

[ENG] To log this cache requires some patience. You will find the cache easily in a bird house, but for logging, you must also find the logbook. Everything that is in the cache container is included in the cache and must not be changed/brought along! The exception is the TB/GC that may be in a separate jar (labeled "TB-burk"). Ända fram till 1950-talet var området obebyggt och skogbevuxet och gick under namnet "Östra utmarken". Det var goda och av västeråsarna uppskattade friluftsmarker med gott om svamp. Vid ett större markbyte med staden 1945 fick Asea ett stort område av Östra Utmarken väster om Lugna gatan "som reserv för industribebyggelse" (numer Finnslätten). Genom senare markbyten och köp har Asea successivt utvidgat sitt område även öster om Lugna gatan, det s k Lundaområdet.

Lunda/Finnslätten, där västeråsarna fram till 1950-talet plockade svamp, är i dag fylld av kontor och verkstäder. Asea var först på plan, men senare har också andra företag etablerat sig där. De första verkstäderna byggdes 1960 för tillverkning av de mekaniska delarna av stora vattenkraftgeneratorer, och successivt byggdes fram till 1977 verkstäder och kontor för hela O-sektorn, som sektorn för stora maskiner kom att heta. Under åren som följde flyttade Asea:s tillverkning successivt från de centrala kvarteren till Finnslätten-/Lundaområdet, och även nytillkommande produktområden, t ex hela elektronikverksamheten och industrirobotarna, förlades dit. Vid början av 1990-talet hade all tillverkning lämnat de gamla centrala verkstäderna, som därefter har ombyggts och anpassats för kontorsverksamhet.

2004 lades en motion om lokalisering av en ny kriminalvårdsanläggning till Lundaområdet i Västerås, den avslogs.
