A small wooded common area in the Folkstone neighborhood. The developers originally wanted to build a community swimming pool and tennis court facility here but when it was discovered the land wasn't suitable, the plans were scrapped. About 22 acres in total, there is a short looped nature trail through the woods and is a popular place for residents to walk their dogs. Area is accessible from Folkstone Dr. Parking is available near the entrance to the nature trail. Please be mindful when parking as there is a fire hydrant near the trailhead - parking is not allowed within 15 feet of a fire hydrant in Fairfax County. Cache location is not far down the trail (could almost be a P&G) and is approximately 65 feet off of the path. Kid friendly cache with some light bushwhacking required. Watch out for poison ivy.
