How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a multi stage geocache with 5 stages taking you to the final cache. Each stage is completely different from the last one and contains the coordinates to the next leg of the journey. Each stage is at least 1/10th of a mile or more away from the last.

This is a large container filled with items meant for fun in the sun at the lake.

This also contains a FTF Travel Marble ready for you to name and send on it's way.

This mutli stage cache will take you on a journey around Alcova Lake. Each stop brings back memories of my sister and my teen years that were spent having fun at Alcova. We named this Fox Rox as the final cache is hidden at a place were all of the "cutest boys" hung out and of course this is where we wanted to be as well. It was the 70s and "Fox" was the lingo of the day! The fifth stage is where we spent a month each summer sleeping on our Uncle's open bowed  (no cabin) boat with our cousins having the time of our lives. It would be imperative to bring a bottle of water for the fourth stage as you can get very dehydrated (LOL).

We made the difficulty 4.5 because of the skills involved in finding the different stages and the number of summer mugglers.

Please hide as good or better than you found it to keep the journey exciting for fellow cachers. Please make sure that each cache lid is put on tightly as this will improve the chances that they stay waterproof. It is the Lake after all. Congratulations to WyoKrewe and Kacki for the FTF! We know that you had the knowledge to complete the entire journey! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with new geocachers!
