The Overlook here is one of the highest points in Kalamazoo County. At one time you could see the Kalamazoo River from this point, but growing things have gotten in the way. If you are visiting in a season with no foilage on the trees you may be able to see Borgess Hospital to the south. Eagles have also been spotted out here.
Cache is a bison tube. When you are done signing the log, take some time to look around and enjoy the more elevated view of the Kalamazoo River Valley.
