On the warm Spring evening when I originally placed this cache, together with my family, we were struck by how much beautiful birdsong we could hear coming from the trees on either side of the path and by how there were no sounds of the city beyond to disturb the calm. Certainly the path itself wouldn't be well known other than to residents and so there shouldn't be too many muggles around to disturb your search for this cache.
We were also interested to learn about the work of the Arthur Willis Environment Centre, which was opened in May 2009 thanks to an investment of £4.5 million by the University of Sheffield. It provides a state of the art ‘Grodome’ (as it's called!) in which 16 discrete units can be used to simulate plant growth conditions for different regions around the globe, as well as future climate scenarios. It contains a dedicated laboratory, office and meeting room space to enable researchers to investigate the wide variety of environmental challenges facing the planet.
