Geocache Description:

This is another cache in my growing series dedicated to Don McLean's archetypal folk-rock classic, "American Pie".

"American Pie" has probably been one of the most discussed and dissected songs of our time. There have been college courses on it and websites dedicated to it.

When asked what "American Pie" meant, Don McLean replied, "It means I don't ever have to work again if I don't want to." He never explained the lyrics, leaving many to ponder the question.

Whatever the interpretation-I love this song and this place seems perfect for these caches. They are all placed with specific regard to safe parking.

On this one, you're looking for a small camouflaged tube. It is hanging upside down to keep the moisture out but the log should be easy to get because it's encased in a bit of drinking straw.

Please replace thoughtfully.
