Geocache Description:

Once upon a time there was a little dragonfly that used to visit a human friend, a woman that really missed a loved person…

Our dragonfly guessed that the happiness of her friend might be in a distant star that shined most brightly on a particular day. By asking some knowledgeable friends, she learned that the name of this star was “Hatsya” and so she decided to adopt the name for herself.

A nice picture of Hatsya and her friends

Every night, Hatsya the little dragonfly dreamed to reach the distant shining star that shared her name.

Being so tiny and the sky so enormous, Hatsya was afraid of getting lost on the way, so she asked for the help of a Blue Fairy, who, after hearing her constant cries, decided to help her and lit the light of a lighthouse that every night was pointing to that star in order to help guide her on such a long journey.

Since then, there is a cache that helps you to find the star, the dragonfly and the lighthouse, and when someone visits those places, the magic starts and some people even say that they have seen the shadow of the dragonfly appearing on that distant star that the lighthouse points to.

You are to start by seeking first the origin and there you will learn the values of the star:

A triple and nebulous star, A.B, C.B and D, white, pale blue and grape red in the sword tip of the Hunter, the brightest star in Orion’s sword.

N 42º 02’ (D-4; C/2; A)”

W 87º 40’ (C/2; A; D-4)”

And once you do your homework as follows, you will be at the 1st stop and clearly in front of our symbol:

N 42º 03’ EFF”

W 87º 40’ G0H”

E: 3Li5W5Le

F: 2Li1W6Le

G: 1Li1W1Le

H: 3Li6W4Le

At the second stop, without going as far as the lake, you will find our second symbol:

N 42º 03’ IJK”

W 87º 40’ L0M”

I: 2Li1W5Le

J: 3Li1W1Le

K: 4Li1W3Le

L: 3Li1W7Le

From this spot, you will see the light.
